Wedding Days are some of my favorite to photograph, for so many reasons i really can’t type them all…. So much joy and love surrounds this big day , sure there are things that don’t seem to be ‘perfect’, but they are little things… when you look at the big picture, the two become one at the end of the day… and the little things are forgotten!! This wedding was held at the beautiful Prairie Glass House! It’s a hidden treasure really, this was the first wedding i had the pleasure of photographing here…. and it was a dream!!! The clean white walls, the ecclectic decor and of course every photographers favorite… a MILLION windows!!! OH THE LIGHT!!!! Just a gorgeous venue!! Here are a few of my favorites from the day, i tried to paint a story for you through this small sneak peek….. but start to finish, as you can see, this day was a pure fairytale!!! Congratulations Hanna and Tanner!! Many happy years to come!!! <3
What an amazing group of girls!!!, Even though, im pretty sure they stole all my ‘water’…. but all is forgiven….. so easy to work with and so fun to watch how they were all so helpful and made Hanna’s day perfect!!
Don’t even get me started on my most favorite time of a wedding day…. sure there’s the ceremony, and the reception, and the cake cutting etc etc…. but it’s the FIRST LOOK that to me is the most wonderful, meaningful time of the day! There is just something about the raw emotions that come out during this moment! Sure, some still think that it’s that moment, when they walk down the ilse that they want to wait for…but when you throw 200 guests into the mix and everyone is staring at you, you really can’t focus on what’s really about to happen! During the first look, there is no one watching!! (except us, ha! and this couple decided to write their own vows to read to each other during their private first look! It was absolutely beautiful, for this moment, the outside world didn’t exist. All that mattered was the two of them!

The cake… Can you believe the mom of the bride actually made her daughter’s wedding cake… we all thought she was pretty crazy for taking on this challenge on such a big day, but wow, she did it and it was absolutely gorgeous….and delicious !!!

Such a beautiful day…. so lucky to be able to share in all the happiness and capture memories for this couple!! Wishing them many more happy memories to come!!!
